Ethnics in action

The ethical dilemma was either to do the right thing such as following the law or get involved in a group of politicians with power and have financial success.

Wealth and power can be a good thing about committing this act, but just like somebody said on the article, “The truth will ultimately prevail.” Disadvantage of this act obviously can lead to prison and failure with people’s disrespect since he was famous in India.

In my opinion, Mr. Jayaswal had Utilitarian view. Not only he wanted to have profits by himself, he also wanted his company to succeed so that he can help others. I think he thought his decision was right because his decision or behavior can do the greatest good for the most people. As you can see on the article, there were people who did not want to reveal their names because of Mr.Jayswal help.

With the current situation, corruption in India will not decrease. When politicians have too many powers, they will only figure out how to live a better life within themselves. Many people will face decisions either to do the right thing or advocate politicians to grab their attentions with success. Many people will face ethical dilemmas just like Mr. Jayaswal. In my opinion, most of the people will choose to support politicians in order for them to survive and support their families. In a situation like this, the government should gather strong people or make a request to other countries to help them fight corruption. I don’t think there is not much of a choice.
